In the time of crisis such as this, businesses may find it challenging to balance their survival and the rights and jobs of workers. The pandemic has presented not only the challenges but also the opportunities to rethink and refocus on business strategies to enhance resilience, reduce exposure to disruption and shocks, and improve sustainability in the long term. This session will discuss challenges for businesses to implement responsible business conduct, opportunities on how multinational enterprises can be instrumental to generate decent work, and explore available tools and how enterprises can apply them to create business resilience and sustainable enterprises.
